We've come a long way, this little Gull and I! From the shores of our rented home on Shawnee Preserve, and our first attempt at launching a skybox over it, creating the first Gull gallery, to this back stoop of the latest gallery that takes up a full 4705 sq. meters of the Homestead I now call Home!
We have met a lot of strange and beautiful people along the way here in Second Life. and
I can honestly say that if it weren't for my friends, I think I may have thrown in the towel by now and let the bird fly off the grid somewhere over the ocean of Lucky Strike and it's enormously overpriced tier! ( Not without scripting it to shit on Frank's head first though ;))I have made many transformations, and almost as many transgressions, but I am grateful for every stumble along that cyber path, because it has brought me to where I am now!
My new home is called Aire Xaris Studios and it is situated on Gull Gallery, which is an actual destination on the grid!
Gull gallery is owned by a lovely man named Gooden Uggla Proprietor of Nuki Nuki Beach, (among many, MANY other things) and he is probably everything that encapulates the best of what can be found here in Second Life. I credit the man with saving me from sailing off the grid and taking the concept of Gull gallery and its peaceful ocean dreamscape of art work, Lighthouse's and beach surf with it.
I have had time here to feel settled, and with that sense of safety has come the influx of creative flow and good feelings.
Gull gallery is open to the public, and is here as a sanctuary of sorts, for all those weary travelers needing a peaceful respite from the sometimes very confusing and almost certainly overwhelming place called second Life.
I look forward to seeing you all!
~Aire
